About the role
You will serve as a Realty Specialist and be responsible for providing property support for several different geographic areas in support of the US Coast Guard property asset management program. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Manage and administer complex real property leases, including negotiations, renewals, amendments, and enforcement of lease provisions. Analyze real estate markets and prepare fair market value determinations, cost analyses, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with DHS, Coast Guard, and federal real property laws, policies, and environmental requirements. Serve as agency liaison and subject matter expert for real property matters, including briefings, Congressional inquiries, and interagency coordination.
