Contract Specialist

Execute pre-award and post-award contracting functions to include acquisition planning, soliciting quotes or offers, negotiating terms, developing award documents, and contract administration. Analyze contract cost or price, including the review of government estimates, proposed cost elements, or comparison of prices to determine reasonableness. Evaluate proposals in accordance with source selection evaluation procedures and determine contractor compliance with provisions/clauses. Prepare well written and concise documentation (Determination and Findings, Justification and Approvals, Award Determination) to support the procurement decisions.
