About the role
You will be responsible for the application of program management techniques to the technical attributes of the FORD Class aircraft carriers. You will supervise project managers in developing, organizing analyzing, executing and monitoring planned requirements - to include training, mentoring, and fostering a diverse work force. You will be responsible for the application of the ship/systems acquisition processes, policies, regulations, principles and practices for all elements of program management. You will develop and execute long-range program plans and requirements for FORD Class Technical Issues. You will work with the shipbuilder and key stakeholders to employ an optimal resolution of technical issues, balancing cost, schedule and quality. You will collaborate with Hull PAPM to develop plans and strategies for generating contract requirements to implement technical solutions.
