MILITARY PAY TECHNICIAN

Provide accurate and timely centralized pay services to Active and Reserve military service members through the maintenance of service member’s MMPA (Master Military Pay Account). Handle problem cases that are elevated by junior staff members for final resolution. Process a variety of complex pay cases requiring comprehensive review and in-depth research to determine the cause of discrepancies within a service member’s account and corrective action. Resolve the most complex military pay and allowance cases involving substantial retroactive payments, adjustments, or collections. Determine appropriate course of action, utilizes a testing system to simulate effects of the revised/new procedure, then modifies or creates new office procedures as appropriate.
