Human Resources Specialist (Military)

Establishes goals and objectives, develops project deadlines, and identifies resources available to execute mission assignments. Serves as the Command's functional and technical expert for all matters that pertain to human resources (military and civilian) personnel management, administration and career development. Manages and directs the personnel management program for all personnel (commissioned officers, warrant officers, noncommissioned officers, enlisted, and civilian personnel) assigned to the unit. Conducts officer, enlisted and civilian strength management and keeps the command informed. Establishes standards, develops operating policies, programs, procedures, and long-range plans, and provides technical guidance.
