About the role
You will oversee and administer the Civilian Drug Free Workplace Program (DFWP) for Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). You will ensure notification is sent to the workforce on drug use prevention, identification, and rehabilitation and treatment services available for civilian employees under the Civilian Employee Assistance Program (CEAP). You will coordinate with the collection contractor for scheduling, and ensures required forms are available. You will assist in the planning and implementing DFWP criteria, guidelines and directives and the study of technical data and information that is either provided by higher authority or researched by the incumbent. You will conduct on-site visits to encourage program participation and to evaluate program effectiveness. You will work with the Command and the Human Resources Office to provide information needed for any required disciplinary matters resulting from a positive drug test or failure to report.
