Patient Advocate Specialist

Provide a channel through which patients and the patient’s representative can seek solutions to problems, concerns and unmet needs. Work with health care providers and administrative support staff to resolve and minimize customer complaints. Act on behalf of the Commander to resolve problems. Act as patient advocate using seasoned judgment to resolve problems. Review files/records and discusses with medical personnel practices which appear to violate patients’ rights. Prepare reports and spreadsheets on patient inquiries and complaints.
