Health Technician (Audiology)

Complete encounter reports and coding for medical documentation into MHS Genesis system. Perform and maintain calibration and equipment within the audiometric test booth. Evaluate hearing, complete otoscopy, provide hearing protection device (HPD) fittings/training. Order, receive, issue and maintain adequate stock of supplies and equipment. Provide earplug fittings and counsel on proper use. Will use the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health System-Hearing Conservation (DOEHRS-HC). Maintain records of tests and tracking data for patients. Provide monthly written reports to Hearing Coordinator.
