QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

You will use comprehensive knowledge of quality standards to develop surveillance/audit checklists to be used to audit ship repair contractors Quality Management System (QMS). You will apply comprehensive knowledge of quality standard principles and conduct surveillance/audits of ship repair contractors QMS using attribute checklists. You will use writing skills to conduct a post audit surveillance/audit report detailing findings for senior management review. You will apply reading comprehension skills to review and approve contractor generated procedures and inspection plans. You will apply oral communication skills to interface with a variety of management personnel from both government and contractor. You will apply knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to develop various reports, track corrective actions taken as a result of surveillances/audits, and brief senior management on results of surveillances/audits.
