SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER

You will plan work, prepare schedules and assign work based on priorities and selective consideration of the difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees. You will interview candidates and make recommendations for appointments, promotions, or reassignments of employees. You will identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training. You will review funding requirements, cost estimates, scheduling, facilities requirement, explaining or interpreting proposed or accomplished actions taken by the shipyard. You will oversee the preparation and issue of overall planning schedule based on established availability dates and all work authorized. You will resolve questions related to funding specifications, scheduling and other considerations. You will prepare package requests to ascertain funding and manpower reservations are adequately covered.
