About the role
You will ensure technical activities related to the Counter Unmanned Systems (CUxS) capability in the Maneuver, Surveillance, and Engagement Division are conducted with sound engineering practices and with proper controls and management. You will be responsible for the implementation of systems engineering practices to ensure proper technical rigor. You will conduct regular reviews to ensure progress is aligned with adequate system engineering practices; ensure engineering policies, instructions, and agreements are consistently implemented within the program. You will represent the Division in external technical activities that address the Counter Unmanned System (CUxS) and associated system acquisition, engineering, technical milestone review boards, risk management boards, and development improvement. You will ensure that solutions to complex technical or programmatic issues are identified.
