Contract Specialist

Plan, implement and administer a full range of socioeconomic programs—in excess of $160 million in contract awards annually Provide guidance on socioeconomic opportunities to the Command, Programs and Project Management and Project Delivery Teams, Contracting Officers, Construction and Engineering Divisions, as well as to the small and minority business community Provide quarterly, biannual and annual goal attainment performance statistics to Northwestern Division, HQ USACE, Department of the Army (DA), and DOD. Serve as a liaison between the Small Business Administration, and other federal, state and tribal partners to include 8a(a) contractors from Portland, Seattle, Spokane, Boise and Sacramento SBA portfolios, HUBZone prime and other small businesses. Review, evaluate, approve or deny documentation and justifications prepared by professional employees.
