Medical Records Technician (Tumor Registry)

Compile and maintain a comprehensive database utilizing the Automated Central Tumor Registry (ACTUR) of all patients diagnosed and/or treated for cancer. Review standard and electronic patient medical records. Contact patients, physicians, and other healthcare facilities to update registry follow-up information. Assist in a wide range of quality assurance studies in the Tumor Registry. Perform and maintain quality assurance of case-finding, abstracting, staging, and coding of data and follow-up procedures.
