About the role
The incumbent is an integral part of a small team responsible for Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan development and maintenance, emergency preparedness staff training, exercises, plan review and development, incident response and recovery, rotational on-call duty, and emergency preparedness contract management. Attends meetings and conferences as necessary. Incumbent must have experience with writing and maintaining Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plans. DUTIES Formulates and drafts to the Library of Congress (LOC) COOP Plan and ensures the format and content are up-to-date and accessible. Develops, evaluates, and ensures implementation of training and technical concepts, policies, and procedures for Continuity of Operations (COOP) support to ensure the continued functioning of the Library under all conditions.
