About the role
You will be responsible for providing policy direction, guidance, and advising on the authorization and plans for protecting personnel requiring personal protection. You will develop, recommend, coordinate, and oversee policies involving force protection as well as developing and managing policies and procedures for the NCIS's vulnerability assessment programs. You will exercise and provide technical and subject matter expertise concerning force protection education and training in the plan's development. You will develop and present oral and written reports to senior management, assistant directors, and high-ranking military and civilian officials within and outside the Navy. You will participate in selecting, assigning, and promoting subordinate personnel and hears and resolves complaints from subordinates.
