AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (SHEET METAL MECHANIC)

You will examine, evaluate, and analyze the condition of assigned sheet metal mechanic systems, components, and accessories for assigned aircraft. You will determine the product condition by identify and documenting all non-conforming discrepancies. You will make informed technical decisions to determine and control the extent of disassembly and depth of repair and processing to only what is required and authorized. You will interpret information from various sources such as blueprints, detailed engineering specifications, and other technical directives. You will perform other duties as assigned.
