Fuel Distribution System Worker

You will serve as a Fuel Distribution Worker. This position is located in DHS/U.S. Coast Guard, Seventh Coast Guard District, Air Station Clearwater, Engineering Department, in Clearwater, FL. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: .Performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly fuel farm/truck inspections, maintenance and service equipment. Receiving fuel from vendors and performs testing of the fuel. Connecting and disconnecting hoses and open and close valves, checking periodically for leaks and checking the condition of storage tanks. Operating equipment to transfer fuels from storage tanks to aircraft tank trucks or similar vehicles. Reading meters and recording amounts of fuel transferred from storage tanks to vehicles.
