About the role
You will manage all communications developmental programs identified as potential solutions to operational shortfalls. You will interpret and establish policy for analyzing and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of research and development-related programs. You will interpret and adapt specific guidelines to address operational and technological deficiencies. You will participate in field testing of communication devices, equipment, systems, and components. You will develop after-action reports and other reports as necessary. You will provide training to system users and write procedures and manuals on newly developed systems. You will identify potential solutions to specific operational needs. You will perform a wide variety of administrative and civilian duties. You will plan and schedule work to be accomplished by subordinates.
