SECURITY SPECIALIST

Provides authoritative information and assistance to personnel security policies and related issues, and manages all personnel security areas including program access requests, clearances, courier authorizations, badges and identification cards. Serves as the organization’s Physical Security Officer responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing a physical security program. As COMSEC custodian, manages receipt, account, distribution and safeguarding of all Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI). Responsible for user training for all military, DOD civilian and contractors or hand receipt holders to the JSP COMSEC Division. Serves as an industrial security representative to conduct surveys of industrial or other private contractor facilities to determine the organization's eligibility to work with and store classified and sensitive information in support of JSP. Maintains continuing responsibility for the development, installation, and management of effective informat
