Business Operations Officer

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Providing authoritative oversight and guidance on the organization's complex planning, programming, and budget execution processes, analyzing alternative strategies to optimize the mix of personnel and resources within fiscal constraints. Serving as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and primary liaison for all organizational procurements, independently drafting Statements of Work (SOW), developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and managing the full lifecycle of contract awards, performance evaluation, and close-outs. Directing and evaluating comprehensive business process reviews and special studies, scrutinizing methodologies and data to provide the Chief Historian with well-reasoned, prioritized courses of action for resolving divergent viewpoints and improving organizational efficiency.
