About the role
You will serve as Team Lead for Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) and potential Agreements Officer (AO) in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division Contracts Department Code 02. You will support customers by assisting with FAR and non-FAR acquisition planning, contracting strategy, source selection, discussions/negotiations, and administration of complex contracts. You will lead interdisciplinary teams of experts in engineering, logistics, finance, law, contracting, and other career fields, to provide innovative, best-value solutions to complex contracting problems. You will perform cost and price analysis, to include conducting business deals on behalf of the Navy. You will draft executive reports and presentation to, and interface with, Senior Executive Service (SES) members and flag level personnel in government and industry on a regular basis.
