About the role
Installing, repairing, troubleshooting, testing, and loading new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, and equipment. Supporting the Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDTE) electrical requirements. Uses all types of shop and hand tools and test equipment associated with the electrical trade such as meggers, oscilloscopes, protective relay testers, multi-meters, watt meters, output, resistance to ground and other electrical characteristics. Design and set-up the testing scenario, equipment and integrated electrical components to result in a successful test. Determine and place distribution panels, boxes, fittings and connections and install wiring, couplings, conduit, relays, fixtures, transformers and other electrical devices including electrical service entrances.
