About the role
Serves as a senior advisor, analyst, and technical expert on a wide range of issues related to communications. Including, but not limited to strategy development and communications planning, organizational change, organizational culture, private sector engagement and best practices, Congressional activities, public speaking and professional writing. Represents the CDR for meetings and conferences w/ senior US Government officials, senior executives from outside the USG, subordinate organizations, civilian organizations, senior officials and dignitaries from across the international community. Responsible for planning, development, coordination and execution of internal and external communication strategies and programs designed to promote the CDRs priorities and objectives. Strategic advisor to CDR, applies knowledge of research methodologies, coupled w/ high level expertise in communication skills and strategic thinking, to incorporate historical and factual analysis in support of CDR
