About the role
Lead national healthcare IT projects to oversee funding of IT projects for Medicaid, CHIP, and more specifically as it relates to the implementation of the Working Families Tax Credit Act Community Engagement requirements. Review of state submitted funding requests to establish community engagement requirements for certain adults enrolled in the Medicaid adult expansion group or certain section 1115 partial expansion demonstrations. Develop solutions to healthcare insurance program issues using information technology (IT) industry knowledge and provide technical guidance to leadership, states, and staff on IT funding and development projects. Lead the coordination of IT design, development, and implementation process with internal and external stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the compatibility of various Medicaid, CHIP, or health care insurance information systems.
