Paralegal Specialist

Directly assist the agency representative and trial attorney at formal adversary hearings. Perform Office of Counsel review and evaluation of proposed adverse/disciplinary actions and decisions for procedural and substantive correctness. Assist in the drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs. Provides paralegal support in connection with litigation including document review, assembling agency records, preparing deposition notebooks, summarizing or excerpting deposition testimony, and assisting the trial attorney at hearings. Perform legal research of statutes, regulations, policy, and case law pertaining to a variety of legal areas.
