About the role
Position independently resolves difficult and complicated retired pay actions. Pay actions involve the comprehensive audit of pay accounts, correction, and adjustment of several items of pay. The incumbent resolves questions of entitlement to additional retired pay compensation. Corrects and adjusts retired pay due to retroactive legislative adjustments which affect benefits due from other agencies. Determines applicability of payments, and initiates collection of overpayments as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
