Director, Financial Management Directorate and Chief Financial Executive

The Director, Financial Management Directorate (FMD) provides executive leadership and expert financial advice to the chain of command and OSW officials, manages the Washington Headquarter Services' (WHS) diverse financial requirements and resources, and reports directly to the Director of WHS. WHS itself is a field activity operating under the authority and direction of the Office of the Director for Administration and Management. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provides comprehensive leadership for all financial management issues and assigned programs, holding responsibility for a diverse portfolio that includes at least 15 different appropriations, a trust fund, and four revolving/transfer funds, such as the Pentagon Reservation Maintenance Revolving Fund.
