About the role
You will serve as primary liaison providing technical guidance and coordination of organized teams with responsibility for functional checkout, test and inspection of major systems, as well as prioritizing work, and resolving conflicts. You will prepare comprehensive technical reports, and when required, formal correspondence, identifying the root cause and all other significant aspects of the problem and the corrections applied. You will have principal responsibility for determining state of operability and contractors’ compliance with installation objectives for the systems assigned. You may be tasked to represent INSURV in the inspection and functional checkout/demonstration of major shipboard systems onboard Mayport based ships as a full participant in INSURV material inspections. You will provide authoritative technical/engineering guidance to Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC) and Naval Shipyards in resolution of repair/overhaul or test/grooming problems beyond their level of in-
