FINANCIAL SPECIALIST

Develops, reviews, and revises instructional training documents and identifies deficiencies in training materials and training programs, applying Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles, standards, and methodology. Keeps abreast of changes in financial management policies, regulations, and directives to determine effect on operations. Independently conducts the more complex studies and resolves problems and issues unresolved at lower levels and problems or situations involving new or substantially changed operations. Analyzes systems and procedural changes to determine training requirements and implements changes to functional training courses or initiates development of new training interventions. Performs as journeyman analyst responsible for on-the-job training, coordinating the technical work, and reviewing the work products of lower graded employees.
