Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions. Perform tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient's laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion. Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed. Educate patients and families about prescribed treatments, reinforcing adherence to the medical plan. Document accurate administered medications and patient responses promptly in compliance with facility policies. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective management of patient medications.
