SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL SPECIALIST (MILITARY PAY)

Manages, directs and executes military pay for Defense Agency customers in the geographical area of responsibility. Develops policies, coordinates, and performs all military pay functions for organizations at all levels of serviced installations. Participates in formal and informal management planning, policy and decision making sessions. Establishes and maintains internal control procedures to protect against fraud, waste, and abuse. Plans, manages and supervises the assigned division staff which consists of technical and clerical (GS-05 and/or GS-06) personnel. Performs additional assignments and special projects at the direction of the supervisor.
