About the role
You will serve as a Engineering Technician (Electrical) in the Engineering Department (Code 200), HM and E Division (Code 200HME), Electrical Support Branch in the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC). You will inspect and assess discrepancies for Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA) during a formal assessment period. You will perform regular, scheduled inspections and assessments as part of an INSURV team and for Integrated Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP) inspections to provide formal written reports on findings, discrepancies and repair recommendations. You will serve as Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) on USN ships. You will provide technical assistance on problems beyond the capability of Intermediate Maintenance Level Activities (IMAs), repair activities and Alteration Installations Teams (AITs) to diagnose and correct.
