SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

You will be directly responsible and accountable for the proper direction and accomplishment of all strength and tightness and operational tests of ship systems and components. You will ensure that all test requirements are effectively planned and integrated into the total shipyard productive effort to successfully achieve project objectives. You will provide leadership necessary to successfully coordinate the entire Test program. You will effectively and efficiently plan, monitor, manage and evaluate the Test Program. You will monitor shipboard testing in progress and take action to assure that testing is conducted in accordance with approved technical and safety requirements. You will ensure the timely development, review and issuance of prerequisite lists, test sequences and production test procedures to avoid work/test delays.
