About the role
Tour of Duty: Monday - Friday (9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) hours may change due to operational needs of management. Please Note: The selectee will be designated as an “Emergency Essential Employee” and will be required to work in emergency situations. Duties include but not limited to: Serve as working leader of three (3) or more employees in accomplishing laborer/recycling/custodial or special events work. Pass on to other workers' instructions received from supervisor and start work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led). Check work in progress and when finished, check for compliance with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods and deadlines. Provide information to supervisor on status and progress of work, cause of delay and overall work operations and problems (e.g., additional on-the-job training requirements for individual employees).
