Defense Travel Technician

Assists in coordination of all required actions to support the successful deployment, operation, and management of DTS. Monitors Authorizing Officials, Accountable Officials and Certifying Officials for compliance with the DTS requirements. Serves as on-site help desk technician, answering travel-related issues such as accuracy of travel data tables and certifications and sustainment training requirements. Processes and approves travel card applications, reinstatement applications, closes and reopens travel card accounts for members, transfers personnel cards. Trouble-shoot problems, develop processes for reporting, and determine the root cause of problems for the Government Travel Card program. Runs reports as an Agency Program Coordinator and assists other financial management staff with analysis and research as directed.
