About the role
You will serve as a Victim Advocate Program Specialist and be responsible for serving as Field Victim Advocate Program Specialist (VAPS), and assists the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), HSWL Service Center (SC), and the Sexual Assault Prevention, Response and Recovery (SAPRR) Program Manager (PM) located in Commandant (CG-1111) in implementing the CG SAPRR Program.. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Serving as the primary coordinator for the victim services and crisis response activities. Training and supporting victim advocates providing services to survivors. Developing policies, procedures, and guidance for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program. Analyzing program data and trends to evaluate services and support leadership decisions.
