About the role
You will serve as the Navy International Programs Officer (IPO) liaison for Navy commands in the INDOPACOM area of responsibility. You will apply analytical techniques to develop strategic plans and prepare briefings, information papers, and talking points for staff at conferences or meetings to support security cooperation efforts. You will evaluate current security cooperation plans, operations, and activities, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You will oversee the COMPACFLT Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, stay informed about FMS equipment, articles, and services, prepare correspondence for regional partner acquisitions, and submit target allocation requirements. You will coordinate with others to identify and execute engagement according to the Theater Security Cooperation Plan. You will manage performance, communicate expectations to your team, support employee development, and address conduct concerns.
