About the role
Full Performance Level for this position is a GS-13 As a Criminal Investigator, you will: Independently plan and personally conduct or lead investigations into violations of Federal laws and regulations, violations of NARA policies and directives, or other matters as assigned. Carry a firearm, apprehend and arrest persons violating U.S. laws, and conduct searches and seizures by warrant and incident to arrest, when appropriate. Present investigative results both orally and in writing to prosecutors and others for determinations of the merits of case prosecution or action. Establish and maintain liaison with investigative and legal personnel in other Offices of Inspector General, U.S. Attorneys, and Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, for the purposes of obtaining and exchanging information relevant to investigations and investigative activities.
