About the role
The Program Management Specialist (Furniture Program) work includes strategic program development, management of major furniture procurements and installations, optimization of furniture assets, and ensuring compliance with federal standards and agency policies. The position directly influences workspace effectiveness, cost control, asset accountability and customer satisfaction across the agency. Provides administrative expertise for space planning, client coordination, and development of procurement packages associated with furniture and other facility and security service contracts. Develops client needs assessments of new furniture procurements, plans and prepares budgets for furniture life cycle replacement and monitors a log of space management. Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for furniture-related projects, vendor inquiries, liaising between AOC and clients, GSA representatives, architects, designers, manufacturers, and installation contractors.
