About the role
These positions are temporary for the 120th House Office Buildings Congressional Moves. The job term may end when projects are completed, or funding expires. This position will be used to fill Night shift Only (9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. Sunday – Thursday). Shifts will be determined and or change based on Operational Needs of Management. Hours may change depending on Operational Needs of Management Journeyman level experience is required for the position. Responsibilities: Surface Preparation and Plastering Work: -Performs decorative maintenance and repair on unusual and unique historical plaster walls, ceilings, cornices, and moldings in the House Office Buildings to a paint ready surface. Plasters metal, wood or gypsum lathe, wallboard, and masonry surfaces. Repairs and patches plaster and stucco surfaces. -Installs lathing and other bases necessary for plastering.
