About the role
These positions are Temporary for the 120th House and Senate Congressional Moves. The job term may end when projects are completed, or funding expires. This position will be used to fill Day and Night shifts. Shifts and Hours will be determined and or changed based on Operational Needs of Management. The Laborer (Recycler)'s will perform a wide range of laborer duties in support of the House Office Buildings and the Senate Office Buildings during the 120th Congressional moves. This requires a 6 day a week schedule, and overtime may be required and in some instances it may be mandatory. Responsibilities: Loads and unloads heavy boxes, bulky supplies and heavy construction building materials and supplies to and from trucks; moves heavy boxes and cartons by hand, hand truck or dolly; opens crates and boxes using crowbars and cuts bands using shears; and stacks boxes and cartons where directed.
