General Supply Specialist (Property)

Provide advice and guidance to command staff and property book hand receipt holders on Property Inventory Management, acquisition, inventory, and accountability. Serve as a direct advisor to the Branch Chief and other medical staff responsible for requisitioning all equipment, and training. Personally manage MEDACC Property Book, Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS). Establish and maintain accurate accounting and reporting of medical and non medical, non-expendable high dollar value and controlled equipment and property, and performs routine phase of property management functions. Plan and supervise the work of the property management section, to include civilian and military personnel. Schedule and assign work considering workloads, priorities and operational requirements; and delegate’s authority as necessary.
