HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS)

You will provide comprehensive and extensive advisory services. You will conduct in-depth research and analysis associated with injury compensation standards established by Congress, Department of Labor (DOL), and Employment Compensation Advisory Board (ECAB) decisions. You will implement injury compensation regulations and policies from DOL, Department of War (Do W), Department of the Navy (DON) Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) and relevant court decisions. You will administer all facets of the FECA program, including compensation benefits, claims and case management, chargeback review and bill validation, and complex compensation determinations. You will serve as consultant to management on all FECA matters with responsibility for resolving controversial, complex and difficult problem cases.
