SUPERVISORY NAVAL ARCHITECT (STRUCTURAL)

You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical advisor for Naval Architecture/Structural issues. You will work with various shop and code program analyst to identify, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives that require knowledge of ships, systems, and processes in the shipyard. You will develop strategic and tactical plans in alignment with division goals and objectives. You will Identify and review indicators ( e.g. Quality Performance System Metrics, Discrepancy Logs, Liaison Action Requests, etc.) to measure and assess the quality of products and services and identify process performance concerns. You will provide technical direction on surface ship/submarine structures in connection with modernization, maintenance, repair, overhaul, conversion, construction, inactivation, recycling of ships and other projects as assigned.
