PHYSICAL SCIENTIST (FLEET GEOSPATIAL INFO & SERVICES)

You will develop and maintain policy directives, instructions, and product allowances for USPACFLT Geospatial Information and Services (GIS). You will represent USPACFLT at conferences, meetings, and workshops, and act as the main contact for GIS issues. You will ensure accuracy and consistency whenever changes are needed, such as updating planning procedures, techniques, or methods. You will work closely with several agencies to coordinate tasking, collection, and production of GIS products and services. You will be responsible for developing, carrying out, monitoring, and evaluating GIS activities.
