About the role
You will review, approve and direct work operations in the execution of environmental and dry dock projects within an assigned zone of work. You will determine total resource requirements and allocation based on schedules and work sequences. You will take necessary actions to achieve cost and schedule commitments. You will determine and provide resolution of operational and maintenance problems with shipyard and ship's personnel. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will identify the developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
