About the role
Investigate reports of security violations, including unauthorized disclosure of defense information. Gather documentary evidence to complete an investigation (i.e. interview subjects and witnesses, etc.) Report losses, damages, and offenses involving personnel, government contractors, property and equipment. Conduct Anti-terrorism/Force Protection briefings. Conduct anti-terrorism assessments of worksites and provide recommendations to mitigate vulnerability. Devise new or improved methods or procedures in the area of anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) emergency planning to ensure the best possible readiness posture. Perform physical security inspections, including restricted areas such as dams, power plants, civil works operations, area and/or any offices throughout the military.
